The SPD-AC-1P-Grey is a single-pole AC surge protection device designed specifically for neutral-ground (N-PE) protection in TN-S low-voltage distribution systems. It safeguards the neutral line of single-phase systems against surge transients caused by lightning or switching events, with a maximum discharge current of 40kA and a nominal discharge current of 20kA. The voltage protection level of 鈮?.0kV ensures downstream equipment is kept within safe limits during transient events. At its core is a metal oxide varistor (MOV) that responds in under 25 nanoseconds 鈥?effectively instantaneous suppression. The grey flame-retardant PC housing (UL94 V-0 rated) snaps onto a standard 35mm DIN rail and features a modular, hot-swappable design, allowing replacement under live conditions without rewiring. Suitable for installation in sub-distribution boxes and combined lightning boxes.
