4P DC Surge Protector 1000V/1500V 40kA - Dual-Input PV SPD for Dual MPPT Inverters & Energy Storage
The SPD-DC-4P-Orange is a 4-pole high-voltage DC surge protection device designed for photovoltaic systems with dual DC inputs, supporting both 1000VDC and 1500VDC. Unlike single-input DC SPDs, it provides two completely independent protection circuits 鈥?DC1 (DC1+/PE and DC1-/PE) and DC2 (DC2+/PE and DC2-/PE) 鈥?allowing a single unit to simultaneously protect both input channels of a dual MPPT inverter or two separate PV arrays in a combiner box. Maximum discharge current is 40kA with a nominal of 20kA, and the voltage protection level is 鈮?.0kV per channel. The high-energy metal oxide varistor (MOV) core responds in under 25 nanoseconds. The modular hot-swappable design allows individual pole modules to be replaced without rewiring. The orange flame-retardant PC housing (UL94 V-0) mounts on a standard 35mm DIN rail and is built for installation in DC distribution cabinets and at inverter DC inputs in solar power and energy storage systems.
