The SPD-DC-3P-Orange is a 3-pole high-voltage DC surge protection device for utility and commercial-scale photovoltaic systems, supporting both 1000VDC and 1500VDC operating voltages. It provides full-mode protection across all three DC protection paths simultaneously 鈥?DC+ to PE, DC- to PE, and DC+ to DC- 鈥?ensuring that inverters, PV arrays, and DC loads are comprehensively shielded against lightning-induced surges, switching transients, and overvoltage events regardless of which conductor is affected. The maximum discharge current is 40kA with a nominal of 20kA, and the voltage protection level is 鈮?.0kV. At its core is a high-energy metal oxide varistor (MOV) that responds in under 25 nanoseconds. The modular, hot-swappable design allows individual modules to be replaced without rewiring, minimizing downtime in live installations. The orange flame-retardant PC housing (UL94 V-0) mounts on a standard 35mm DIN rail and is suitable for installation in DC distribution cabinets and PV combiner boxes at solar power stations.
