2P DC Surge Protector 500V/1000V 40kA - PV Solar SPD for RV & Residential Solar Systems
The SPD-DC-2P-Orange is a 2-pole DC surge protection device for photovoltaic systems, supporting both 500VDC and 1000VDC operating voltages. By switching both poles simultaneously, it provides complete protection of both the positive and negative conductors in a DC circuit 鈥?shielding solar electrical systems and connected load equipment from lightning-induced surges, switching transients, and overvoltage events. Maximum discharge current is 40kA with a nominal of 20kA, and the voltage protection level is 2.8kV at 500VDC and 3.6kV at 1000VDC. The copper core ensures excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance for reliable long-term outdoor operation. The orange flame-retardant PC housing clips onto a standard 35mm DIN rail and is compatible with PV systems and DC circuit breakers. Ideal for distribution boxes in RV solar setups and residential rooftop solar installations.
