1P DC Surge Protector 500V/1000V 40kA - PV Solar SPD for RV & Residential Solar Systems
The SPD-DC-1P-White is a single-pole DC surge protection device engineered specifically for photovoltaic systems, supporting both 500VDC and 1000VDC operating voltages. It protects solar electrical systems and connected load equipment against lightning-induced surges, switching transients, and overvoltage events, with a maximum discharge current of 40kA and a nominal of 20kA. The voltage protection level is 2.8kV at 500VDC and 3.6kV at 1000VDC, adapting to the system voltage in use. Built with a copper core for excellent conductivity and corrosion resistance, the device is housed in a white flame-retardant PC enclosure (flame-retardant rated) that snaps onto a standard 35mm DIN rail. Compatible with PV systems and circuit breakers, it is designed for installation inside distribution boxes on RV solar setups and residential rooftop solar systems.
